Decho Por Borirak is ready to take his career to the next level when he faces dangerous knockout artist Suriyanlek Por Yenying in the main event of ONE Friday Fights 124.
The 22-year-old striker will headline his first card when he locks horns with his fellow Thai inside Bangkok’s legendary Lumpinee Stadium this Friday, September 12, live in Asia primetime.
Decho enters this 132-pound Muay Thai clash riding an impressive eight-fight winning streak, including back-to-back wins over the tough Isannuea ChotBangsaen. But now, he’ll be tested like never before against one of the promotion’s most explosive finishers.
A veteran with over 100 professional bouts, Suriyanlek has carved out a reputation as one of the weekly series’ most lethal knockout strikers.
The Sangtiennoi Gym standout demolished Rambong Sor Therapat with a thunderous second-round knockout at ONE Friday Fights 115 this past July, displaying the killer instinct that has made him a nightmare matchup for most opponents.
While Decho respects his foe’s destructive capabilities, the rising contender believes Suriyanlek’s aggressive style creates exploitable windows. Those same power shots that have flattened opponents could leave the veteran exposed to swift counters.
The young Thai striker has done his homework on Suriyanlek’s approach, identifying both threats and opportunities:
“Suriyanlek’s dangerous weapon is his ‘buffalo punch’, and he has heavy strikes with both his leg kicks and punches. I’ve been studying his fights, and his power is definitely for real, so I have to be extra careful and strengthen myself.
“But I see a lot of weaknesses too. When he throws those big, looping punches, it leaves an opening for me to counter.”
The Singha Mawynn Gym product has been grinding relentlessly in preparation for this battle. His blueprint — calculated patience before explosive bursts, knowing “The Destroyer” can end fights instantly.
That said, Decho has been sharpening specific tools designed for his more experienced foe:
“My main weapons for this fight are my elbows and head kicks. I’ve prepared them with the hope of finishing the fight. I think this fight could go either way, but I believe it’s going to be exciting for sure.
“I’m not going to be careless, though, because he has a lot of power. I also have my knees as a secret weapon, ready to use at the right moment.”

Everything is on the line for Decho in his main event billing against such a seasoned destroyer. Victory could fast-track him toward that coveted six-figure ONE contract.
The weight of this massive opportunity resonates deeply with the ambitious striker. He continued:
“If I beat Suriyanlek, it would feel like I’ve leveled up. He’s already faced some top fighters, and a win would prove that I’m just as good. My body is 100% ready for this fight. I’m ready to rumble, and I’m not afraid of Suriyanlek’s power.”
Reflecting on his first two outings in ONE, Decho Por Borirak admits he left something to be desired in the ring. The two wins over Isannuea went to the judges’ scorecards — which were not the emphatic statements he had hoped to make.
Now, this is his stage to silence doubters while proving he belongs among the elite. The young Thai is excited to showcase his evolution:
“I’m glad to be back and headlining this card. I’m still excited, but I feel less pressure now. I want to prove myself and put on a better performance than in my last two fights.
“A lot of people online are saying I’m going to get knocked out because my opponent hits hard, so I want to show everyone that I can handle it.”

Beyond personal vindication, Decho is driven by the prospect of delivering a spectacular finish and setting up his family for financial success. Their unwavering support has fueled his entire journey in “the art of eight limbs.”
With so much at stake, Decho steps into this defining moment, supremely confident in his ability to shock one of the division’s most revered fighters.
He concluded:
“If I get the bonus this time, I’ll save it for my family. They’ve always come to cheer for me whenever I fight.
“Right now, I’m 100 percent confident in my physical condition and training. I believe I can beat Suriyanlek and get three consecutive wins.”
