The world’s largest martial arts organization returns to the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on September 12 after a double-header weekend that went down in the history books.
ONE Friday Fights 124 will air live from the legendary venue in Asia primetime. There, nearly two dozen athletes will battle for a life-changing US$100,000 contract and a spot on ONE Championship’s main roster. Two already-contracted stars will also feature on the card.
In the 132-pound Muay Thai main event, battle-tested veteran Suriyanlek Por Yenying looks to extend his impressive ONE Friday Fights run against surging young Thai striker Decho Por Borirak.
The 29-year-old Suriyanlek has established himself as one of the most dangerous finishers on the weekly series. Coming off a knockout victory over Rambong Sor Therapat, he’ll be hunting for another spectacular finish to solidify his position as a contract candidate.
Standing across from him will be the 22-year-old Decho, who enters this bout riding an impressive eight-fight winning streak. The relentless clinch specialist has proven he can drain opponents with his grueling pace and surgical knee work, making this a classic veteran experience versus youthful momentum matchup.
In an explosive flyweight Muay Thai co-main event, 18-year-old knockout artist Maemmot Sor Salacheep faces off against dangerous Myanmar striker Eh Mwi.
Maemmot has announced himself as a serious threat with two knockouts, including a spectacular left hook finish over Rittidet Sor Sommai. The young Thai will look to continue his rapid rise through the ranks.
Eh Mwi brings lethwei experience and southpaw power that has already produced highlight-reel moments in ONE Friday Fights. The 23-year-old Myanmar native knows a victory over the highly regarded Maemmot could catapult him into contract contention.
The featured bout of the evening sees former ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Champion Alaverdi “Babyface Killer” Ramazanov taking on rising Thai talent Dernchon Lukjaomaesaithong in a featherweight Muay Thai battle.
At 30 years old, Ramazanov is eager to work his way back toward the elite level after losing his World Title. The Russian striker’s unpredictable style and experience make him a dangerous opponent for anyone in the division.
Dernchon presents a formidable challenge with his southpaw power and aggressive clinch game. The 20-year-old has been building momentum and sees a victory over a former ONE World Champion as his ticket to bigger opportunities within the promotion.
The international flavor continues throughout the card, highlighted by contracted Japanese star Ryohei “Ken Asuka” Kurosawa making his promotional debut against Filipino striker Jayson “Dumagmang Warrior” Miralpez in strawweight MMA action.
Additionally, the card features compelling matchups across multiple disciplines, including Italian kickboxer Ester “The Arrow” Viola facing Thailand’s Nongam Fairtex at 112 pounds, and Chinese striker Zhao “The Harvester” Chongyang taking on Iranian Arman Moradi in bantamweight kickboxing.
