ONE Championship has already assembled a spectacular November 2026, with World Title showdowns, legendary rivalries, and a prestigious Muay Thai World Grand Prix commanding the spotlight across Bangkok and Tokyo.

But the world’s largest martial arts organization isn’t finished delivering the fireworks.

On Friday, November 27, The Inner Circle 40 will bring another exhilarating night of martial arts to Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium, airing live in Asia primetime on live.onefc.com, with four Thai strikers looking to strengthen their cases for a life-changing US$100,000 main roster contract.

Two-time K-1 Champion Yodkhunpon “Piranha Muangthai” will face teenage phenom Detchawalit Silkmuaythai in a fascinating bantamweight Muay Thai showdown. Meanwhile, Worapon Lukjaoporongtom and Kongklai Sor Sommai will collide in another explosive bantamweight encounter.

Few matchups capture the contrast between Muay Thai’s established elite and its emerging generation quite like Yodkhunpon against Detchawalit.

With more than 90 professional victories, Yodkhunpon has conquered one of kickboxing’s biggest stages.

The Thai powerhouse captured the K-1 Super Lightweight Title in 2024 after competing three times in a single day, scoring two knockouts before prevailing in the tournament final. He defended that crown with a first-round knockout in 2025, further cementing his reputation for relentless pressure, punishing low kicks, and heavy boxing combinations.

And when “Piranha Muangthai” made his ONE Championship debut against Turkish standout Semih “Tiger” Sah Cindir at ONE Friday Fights 160 this past June, he delivered another emphatic statement. After absorbing some early punishment, Yodkhunpon pressed forward and found his opening late in the second round.

The decorated veteran slipped a left hook before uncorking a devastating overhand left that sent Cindir crashing to the canvas, securing a spectacular knockout at the 2:49 mark.

But his next opponent represents a different kind of danger.

Detchawalit may be only 18 years old, but he already boasts an impressive 51-5 professional record and a perfect 5-0 slate in ONE Championship, including four knockout victories.

The Silk Muay Thai representative has been particularly ruthless inside Lumpinee Stadium. At ONE Friday Fights 141 in February, he demolished Saw Min Min in just 25 seconds with a counter head kick and a right hand.

A month later, Detchawalit knocked out Denis Dotsenko in the second round of their ONE Friday Fights 146 main event, extending his promotional finishing streak to four.

His most recent appearance against French striker Tom “No Time” Casse at The Inner Circle 21 in July demonstrated another dimension to his arsenal. Detchawalit scored a knockdown in each round to earn a hard-fought unanimous decision, proving that his dangerous weapons remain effective beyond the opening exchanges.

Now, the teenager has an opportunity to claim the biggest victory of his young career against a decorated international champion. For Yodkhunpon, stopping the undefeated ONE rising star would strengthen his own bid for a coveted main roster deal.

Elsewhere on the card, two battle-tested Thai warriors with more than 150 professional victories between them will square off in a bantamweight Muay Thai contest brimming with explosive potential.

Worapon has collected 71 career victories with his powerful southpaw arsenal, combining devastating left body kicks with sharp elbows and dangerous clinch work.

The 24-year-old enjoyed an impressive resurgence earlier this year, beginning with a sensational first-round head-kick knockout of Myanmar powerhouse Soe “Man of Steel” Lin Oo in January. He became the first fighter to finish the famously durable veteran before adding another first-round stoppage against French striker Arthur “Codjoe” Brossier in March.

Worapon then outworked Casse over three rounds in May, extending his winning streak to three. However, his momentum stalled against Italian standout Lenny Blasi at The Inner Circle 28 in August, where a second-round knockdown contributed to a unanimous decision defeat.

Now, the Sor Dechapan representative is determined to reignite his pursuit of the coveted six-figure contract.

But Kongklai has similar ambitions. The 28-year-old former Siam Omnoi Stadium Champion and 2020 Sports Authority of Thailand Fighter of the Year boasts more than 80 professional victories and a fearsome reputation for his explosive left hand.

He showcased his finishing ability with a third-round knockout of Ferrari Fairtex in August 2025 before defeating Kendu Irving by majority decision that November. Kongklai continued his resurgence by stopping Iranian powerhouse Mohammad “Prince of Persia” Habibpour in February 2026, securing his third consecutive victory with a barrage of punishing knees.

But subsequent setbacks against Brazilian veteran Julio Lobo and Moroccan hard-hitter Adam “El Capitano” Benwarwar halted that momentum. His July encounter with Benwarwar was particularly dramatic. Kongklai scored two knockdowns and appeared headed for another finish, only for the Moroccan to mount an astonishing comeback and secure a second-round TKO.

Now, the slugger must navigate Worapon’s venomous kicks and dangerous clinch game while looking to unleash his trademark punching power. With both men hungry for redemption and a potentially life-changing contract still within reach, this firefight could provide a fittingly explosive conclusion to ONE Championship’s extraordinary November.
