What We Know So Far About The September 26 ONE Friday Fights 126 Tentpole Event

ONE Championship’s tentpole event ONE Friday Fights 126 is heating up following the announcement of several scintillating bouts for the September 26 spectacle at the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Broadcasting live in Asia primetime, the headlining acts will feature ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai‘s kickboxing duel with Liu Mengyang, and ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nabil Anane‘s kickboxing debut against Ilias Ennahachi.

Joining this epic lineup is an all-action 140-pound Muay Thai war between respected Thai veterans Seksan “The Man Who Yields To No One” Or Kwanmuang and Suablack Tor Pran49.

Seksan needs no introduction on the global stage. The 36-year-old electrified fans with his god-like durability and devil-may-care attitude in career-defining wins over Liam Harrison and Soe Lin Oo. But after dropping his last two contests, the redemption-seeking warrior is out to prove he’s still a force to be reckoned with under Muay Thai rules.

His opponent just got back on the winning track after dropping three straight bouts against top-notch competition. Suablack displayed an improved arsenal in his breakthrough win over Sangarthit Looksaikongdin at ONE Friday Fights 114 in June. The 29-year-old wants to keep that momentum going and add a legend like Seksan to his growing resume.

Also, two unstoppable forces collide in explosive 140-pound Muay Thai, as battle-tested “Elbow Zombie” Muangthai PK Saenchai faces hungry Belarusian-Frenchman Antar Kacem. Both warriors enter on scorching hot streaks, but only one will emerge victorious.

“Elbow Zombie” has carved through three straight opponents, culminating in his unanimous decision victory over veteran Seksan. But the ravenous Kacem is desperate to extend his rampage to five straight and claim that coveted six-figure contract at Muangthai’s expense.

Meanwhile, international flavor arrives as Italy’s Alessio Malatesta steps into hostile territory against beloved Lumpinee fan-favorite PTT Apichart Farm in 147-pound Muay Thai warfare. The 23-year-old Italian seeks his fourth ONE Friday Fights conquest while PTT is out for vindication after his promotional debut defeat to Elies Abdelali.

Elsewhere on the card, unfinished business reaches its conclusion as Yodlekpet “The Destroyer” Or Atchariya and Pompet Panthonggym renew their flyweight Muay Thai rivalry. Their first encounter at ONE Friday Fights 120 showcased back-and-forth excitement that left Yodlekpet clinging to victory by the skin of his teeth via split decision.

Adding fuel to the fire, Rui Botelho and “Fighting Rooster” Zhang Peimian settle their explosive strawweight kickboxing dispute in another intriguing rematch. Their first encounter saw the underdog Botelho emerge victorious via split decision.

Now, the Portuguese striker wants to prove his triumph was no fluke while the Chinese star hunts retribution.

In a clash of generations, former two-sport king Sam-A Gaiyanghadao blocks the path of Myanmar’s rampaging 22-year-old Thway Lin Htet. The iconic striker isn’t ready to step aside as the young destroyer looks to bulldoze his way into World Title contention in the strawweight Muay Thai ranks.

Rounding out the loaded lineup, young guns Sangarthit Looksaikongdin and Ali “The King” Koyuncu ignite Lumpinee in a 140-pound kickboxing tiff, promising fireworks as both strikers battle for breakout glory in the world’s largest martial arts organization.
