Before 16 of the world’s greatest martial arts superstars throw down at ONE Fight Night 35: Buntan vs. Hemetsberger on Prime Video at Bangkok, Thailand’s Lumpinee Stadium tomorrow, they have two final hurdles to clear.
Every athlete scheduled for action on the U.S. primetime card must hit their mark on the scale and pass hydration testing to ensure they’re healthy and ready to compete at their very best.
Fans can watch the official weigh-ins and hydration tests by clicking the video below beginning at 6 p.m. ICT/7 a.m. ET on Thursday, September 4.
In the main event, ONE Women’s Strawweight Kickboxing World Champion Jackie Buntan battles Austrian sensation Stella “Always Hungry” Hemetsberger for the vacant ONE Women’s Strawweight Muay Thai World Title.
The Filipina-American kickboxing queen has a rare chance to join Stamp Fairtex and former teammate Janet Todd as the only female two-sport World Champions in ONE history.
Meanwhile, Hemetsberger enters the contest with tremendous momentum following her spectacular knockout victory over Vanessa Romanowski, which earned her a six-figure contract. The 26-year-old now has the opportunity to make history of her own by becoming Austria’s first ONE World Champion.
The co-main event features a pivotal featherweight Muay Thai clash that could determine the division’s next World Title challenger, as #2-ranked contender Bampara “Bambi Firelek” Kouyate squares off against #3-ranked Shadow Singha Mawynn.
Kouyate, a former WMC Muay Thai World Champion, has been on fire since moving to his natural weight class, earning back-to-back TKO victories over Luke Lessei and “Smokin” Jo Nattawut.
However, Shadow recently enjoyed a five-bout winning streak with victories over the likes of former ONE World Title challenger Jimmy Vienot and multi-time Muay Thai and Kickboxing World Champion Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong. In March, he displayed his dangerous knockout power by stopping Hassan Vahdanirad to secure his own six-figure contract.
Also, one of the most intriguing matchups on the card sees two of martial arts’ brightest young stars collide when undefeated 19-year-old prodigy Adrian “The Phenom” Lee faces ONE Welterweight Submission Grappling World Champion Tye Ruotolo in a lightweight MMA bout.
Lee has been invincible since joining ONE in 2024, finishing all three of his opponents and earning $50,000 bonuses for each performance. The teenage sensation looks to extend his perfect record against the ultimate test.
Ruotolo, the twin brother of lightweight submission grappling king Kade Ruotolo, finally makes his highly anticipated MMA debut after years of dominating the grappling world. The 22-year-old BJJ dynamo owns eight submission grappling wins in ONE and captured the inaugural ONE Welterweight Submission Grappling World Title in November 2023.
Check out the full card for ONE Fight Night 35 before the action begins at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT this Friday, September 5.
