It was a captivating night at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, June 5, as The Inner Circle delivered fireworks from the opening bout to the main event.
Former Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Champion Kongchai Chanaidonmueang headlined in style, stopping Moldovan sensation Valerii Strungari at 1:32 of the first round in their strawweight Muay Thai clash.
Strungari came out pressing early, looking to control the center of the ring with punch-heavy combinations, but Kongchai stayed patient behind a high guard and began breaking him down with low kicks.
Ultimately, a crushing knee dropped Strungari to the canvas, and he couldn’t beat the count. The win pushed Kongchai’s record to 79-16 and extended his winning streak to four.
In the co-main event, Yuan Pengjie put on a masterclass to defeat Jaosuayai Mor Krungthepthonburi via unanimous decision. That performance moved the Chinese standout’s record to 40-4 and gave him the biggest victory of his career.
Elsewhere on the card, Rahim “Borz” Tcherchaiko earned his own unanimous decision win over Zhang “Chinese Tiger” Jinhu in flyweight kickboxing.
Banluelok Sitwatcharachai produced a late finish, stopping Rak Erawan via knockout at 1:21 of round three in atomweight Muay Thai. And Taiga “Black Samurai” Orii closed the show with a first-round TKO of Julian Mayorga at 3:03 in bantamweight MMA.
