ONE SAMURAI 4 Update: Three Fights Impacted By Weigh-Ins & Hydration Tests

Following the ONE SAMURAI 4 Weigh-Ins & Hydration Tests on October 16, there have been a few changes to the bout card.

The ONE SAMURAI Featherweight Kickboxing Tournament semifinal match between Marat Grigorian and Luo Chao, which was scheduled for ONE SAMURAI 4 in Tokyo on October 17, has been removed from the lineup.

Luo failed to make the 155-pound limit during the allotted three-hour window, effectively eliminating him from the tournament.

In addition, negotiations to rebook the match as a catchweight kickboxing contest at ONE SAMURAI 4 were unsuccessful.

Rifdean Masdor, who was scheduled to challenge ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Nadaka Yoshinari, failed to make weight during the three-hour window.

After the conclusion of the ONE SAMURAI 4 Weigh-Ins & Hydration Tests, Rifdean passed hydration and weighed in at 118.6 pounds.

The match will continue as a five-round World Title fight, but Rifdean is ineligible to win the belt.

Rukiya Anpo, who was scheduled to face Bogdan Shumarov in a lightweight kickboxing match, also failed to make weight.

Once the Japanese star can pass the hydration test and reweigh in, negotiations between him and Shumarov will take place.
