Teenage dynamo Lothong Kruaynaimuanggym dug deep to outpoint fellow Thai warrior Wanpadej NF Looksuan in this flyweight Muay Thai co-main event at ONE Friday Fights 144.
The 17-year-old established his rhythm early in this high-paced contest, which unfolded live in Asia primetime from the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, February 27.
His stabbing knees inside the clinch disrupted his foe’s timing, while sharp punch-and-kick combinations repeatedly found their mark in the opening three minutes.
When action resumed in the second round, it was Wanpadej who found his rhythm first. He pressed behind rounds of spinning attacks and combinations to even things up.

While it worked and briefly swung momentum fully in his favor, the Kruaynaimuang Gym product continued to land the cleaner strikes. Whenever Wanpadej overcommitted with his kicks, Lothong was quick to catch them and fire back with crisp counterpunches.
The third round saw Wanpadej pressing forward with repeated kicking attempts and heavy hands, searching for a decisive breakthrough. However, nothing truly dented Lothong’s confidence.
He remained composed under pressure, answering with accurate strikes and outstanding work in the clinch to finish strong. After three entertaining rounds, Lothong’s aggression and volume earned him a unanimous decision, improving his professional slate to 60-17.
