ONE Championship is set to ignite the “Madison Square Garden of the East” with another hard-hitting edition of its Asia primetime event series, ONE Friday Fights.
ONE Friday Fights 121 will emanate live from the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on August 22, and nearly two dozen Muay Thai and MMA fighters will compete for a chance to earn a six-figure contract and global roster spot with the world’s largest martial arts organization.
In the main event, Thai demolition man Tengnueng Fairtex collides with undefeated Russian wrecking machine Maksim Bakhtin in a lightweight Muay Thai battle that has fireworks written all over it.
Also, in the featured attraction, unbeaten 19-year-old British-Pakistani phenom Ubaid “Bad” Hussain puts his blemish-free record on the line against Thai veteran Petnakian Sor Nakian in a 130-pound Muay Thai showdown. Plus, the global fan base will be treated to the promotional debut of Japanese sensation Ryuya Okuwaki, who is a three-time Muay Thai World Champion.
