Need For Speed: How Teenage Phenom Ramadan Ondash Balances Muay Thai, Jet Skis, And Supercar Dreams

Inside the ring, Ramadan “The Scorpion” Ondash fights like a man permanently holding down the fast-forward button.

The teenage knockout artist has quickly emerged as one of the most explosive young stars on the ONE Friday Fights circuit, thanks to his relentless forward pressure, terrifying knockout power, and fearless willingness to step straight into chaos.

Now, the 19-year-old Lebanese phenom is preparing for another massive challenge as he faces Suriyanlek Por Yenying in a highly anticipated flyweight Muay Thai showdown at The Inner Circle. The blockbuster event airs live exclusively for subscribers on Friday, May 29, at live.onefc.com from Bangkok’s legendary Lumpinee Stadium.

Outside the ropes, however, Ondash is still very much a teenager chasing adrenaline in entirely different ways.

Away from the grueling training camps, heavy sparring sessions, and intense fight preparation, the Tiger Muay Thai striker spends much of his free time jet skiing with friends back home in Lebanon, particularly during the summer months.

The high-speed activity has become one of his favorite ways to escape the nonstop grind of professional martial arts while still feeding the exact same love for excitement that shines through in his aggressive fighting style.

He said:

“Every summer in Lebanon I go jet skiing with my friends. There are some beautiful ski resorts in southern Lebanon.

“Jet skiing in the summer is very good. It’s fun. I usually go with my friends to enjoy life. I’ve been doing that for the past two years. It’s fun and full of happiness. I go every Saturday and Sunday, except weekdays because we have training, work, and everything.”

According to Ondash, however, this is not just a casual weekend hobby.

The teenage striker proudly describes himself as “professional” on the water and admits he truly enjoys the danger and unpredictability that come with riding the waves at full throttle.

In many ways, his mentality on a jet ski sounds identical to how he approaches a Muay Thai firefight.

He explained:

“I’m very good at it — very professional. It’s crazy. I can do jumps, everything. I’m not afraid. Even if I fall into the water, I can just swim.

“It’s a cool way to have fun. It’s good for adrenaline. It makes you forget about everything.”

His rapid success in ONE Championship has also allowed Ondash to slowly begin purchasing things he once viewed as impossible while growing up.

After years of struggling financially and focusing purely on training and survival, the young Lebanese phenom proudly revealed that he was able to purchase his own jet ski around a year ago following his meteoric rise on the global stage.

He shared:

“I bought one already. Last summer, around a year ago. It’s not too expensive, maybe US$6,000 or US$7,000. It has many colors — very beautiful.

“When I was a kid, I didn’t have any dream. All I did was train and fight. Now I have money, a contract, and everything. But I still want more money. I want to buy a house or a car. When I was a kid, everything seemed expensive, but now I can buy one.”

Ramadan Ondash Dreams Of Supercars And Future Success

Jet skis are only one piece of Ramadan Ondash’s deep obsession with speed.

Like many teenagers around the world, the Lebanese striker is intensely fascinated by supercars, and he already knows exactly which model sits at the absolute top of his dream list.

The fearless knockout artist admitted that one of his biggest goals outside of fighting is eventually owning a Mercedes-AMG GT 63, although he also daydreams about Lamborghinis and Ferraris as his professional career continues to progress.

For Ondash, those high-end cars symbolize far more than luxury. They represent exactly how far martial arts has already taken him, and how much bigger his future could still become.

“The Scorpion” said:

“Of course I have a dream car. My dream car is the Mercedes-AMG GT 63. It’s very beautiful, but a bit expensive. Maybe if I get to fight someone like Takeru Segawa, I can buy one from that money. But unfortunately, Takeru is not fighting anymore.

“And I also like Lamborghini and Ferrari. They are small cars, but beautiful — very beautiful. It’s not impossible now to own one. Maybe in one or two years.”

While Ondash clearly enjoys the exhilarating idea of speed, luxury, and adrenaline, the person he imagines sitting in the passenger seat of that future supercar says even more about who he is outside of the spotlight.

When asked who he would want riding with him, the answer came instantly.

The Lebanese firecracker said:

“A girlfriend — I don’t have one now, at least not official, but I’m talking with someone now. We are close.”

Amid his rapidly growing popularity online and the sudden rush of attention from fans around the globe, Ondash remains highly selective about his relationships and prefers a much simpler lifestyle than many people expect from a rising sports star.

He revealed that while he receives messages from potential love interests across different countries, he ultimately wants a partner who stays completely away from partying, smoking, and nightlife culture.

Instead, “The Scorpion” hopes to eventually build a quiet, meaningful future centered firmly around family, stability, and his faith.

He concluded:

“I don’t like girls who go to parties. I want a good woman who doesn’t smoke and does not go to parties. I want a healthy and simple woman.”
