Aslamjon “El Pantera” Ortikov turned up the intensity at an open workout held at TC Muay Thai School on Monday, November 2, in Bangkok, Thailand, as the #1-ranked flyweight Muay Thai contender gears up for the biggest rematch of his career.

The 23-year-old Uzbek sensation spoke to media as he prepares to face reigning ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Asadula “The Dagestan Ninja” Imangazaliev in the main event of The Inner Circle 39 on Friday, November 20, from the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok.

The five-round clash also serves as the last quarterfinal of the 2026-2027 ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix, with the winner advancing to the semifinals. It streams exclusively for members on live.onefc.com in Asia primetime.

Ortikov and Imangazaliev made history at The Inner Circle 20 in June, when they became the first two undefeated ONE Friday Fights contract winners to collide for a ONE World Title.

The vacant ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Title was on the line, and neither man gave an inch over five rounds and 15 minutes of non-stop action. When the final bell sounded, the judges awarded Imangazaliev a split-decision victory, and he walked out as the division’s undisputed champion.

Ortikov, who owns a 24-1 career record and a 10-1 mark in ONE, still believes he did enough to win. The TC Muaythai and Sport club Shakhriyor product earned his US$100,000 main roster contract with a string of electric performances on ONE Friday Fights event series, and back-to-back wins over Kongthoranee Sor Sommai and Jordan “Panda Kick” Estupinan punched his ticket to that first title shot.

Now he gets the chance to settle the score, claim the 26 pounds of gold, and book his place in the Grand Prix semifinals. A victory would also make him Uzbekistan’s first-ever ONE Muay Thai World Champion.

Imangazaliev Has Something To Prove

Standing in his way is a ONE World Champion who is just as determined to leave no doubt.

The 23-year-old Imangazaliev is 13-0 and became the first Russian fighter to capture Muay Thai gold in ONE when he edged Ortikov in June. The Dagestan finisher built his reputation on powerful, unpredictable striking, and his resume includes a knockout of living legend Nong-O Hama.

Now he makes the first defense of his crown, and he wants to earn the win in a far more convincing fashion while keeping his perfect record intact. A second victory over Ortikov would also send him into the Grand Prix semifinals as the man to beat.

Before these two throw the kitchen sink at each other at The Inner Circle 39 on Friday, November 20, here are some photos from Monday’s open workout at TC Muay Thai School in Bangkok.
