‘Defend That Belt Together’ – Superbon Guides Rambolek Through First ONE World Title Defense Against Yod-IQ

ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Superbon has been in Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon‘s corner every step of the way as the latter prepares for his first test as a divisional king in the main event of The Inner Circle 30.
The ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion puts his gold on the line against Yod-IQ Or Pimolsri inside Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium this Friday, September 11. The entire Asia primetime card will be available only to members at live.onefc.com.
Rambolek arrives off a six-fight winning streak, capped by a strong five-round display that earned him the 26 pounds of gold against Nabil Anane at The Inner Circle 7 this past March.
To make sure his protege shows up in equally sharp form this time around, Superbon has taken a hands-on approach throughout training at his Bangkok-based Superbon Training Camp.
That level of personal involvement tells him everything he needs to know about where the 23-year-old Rambolek currently stands.
He said:
“I’ve been sparring and light-sparring with him myself. I’ve been focusing on playing the chess match and refining his technical sparring. And I feel like if a technical fighter can stand toe-to-toe and hold their own in a sparring match against me, they can handle anyone.
“Plus, I’m bigger than him. I feel like the moment he can trade technical moves with me and match my skill level, he can fight anyone – whether in his weight class or anywhere in ONE Championship.”
That extra attention to detail is no accident. The 36-year-old knows full well that Yod-IQ will not be a walk in the park. The challenger heads into the biggest fight of his career on a run of 10 consecutive wins.
Superbon has made sure both he and Rambolek have studied every clip of fight footage. That homework has left him with a clear, honest read on how close this fight actually is.
He said:
“I’d say it’s a 50/50. It’s all going to come down to fight IQ and quick thinking. But I feel Rambolek will have a tiny edge over Yod-IQ when it comes to sharpness and fight IQ, just a slight hair ahead.
“So I feel like Rambolek might look just a bit better, but at the end of the day, it’s a 50/50 fight.”
Superbon Dishes On The Weight Of Wearing Gold
That razor-thin read says plenty about just how difficult defending a title actually is, a subject Superbon knows well as a fellow ONE World Champion himself.
Winning a belt and keeping it are two different challenges. The featherweight kickboxing king has lived through that shift firsthand, and it shapes exactly what he has been drilling into Rambolek throughout this camp.
Superbon said:
“It really is harder. At the end of the day, everyone wants a shot at you. Everyone studies how you fight, analyzes your tape, and tries to figure out a blueprint to beat you. Your style becomes open information because everyone wants to be the champ.
“That’s why you have to keep evolving and stay as versatile as possible. You have to be able to beat one guy using one style, and another guy using a completely different approach. That’s what I’ve been trying to pass on to him.”
With fight week finally here, Superbon’s focus has shifted from fine-tuning technique to something far simpler. He wants people watching.
This is not just another Friday night on the calendar for him. It is the culmination of months spent in the gym with Rambolek, and he wants the fans to feel that same sense of occasion heading into September 11.
The Thai striking maestro added:
