ONE Championship returns to U.S. primetime when ONE Fight Night 47: Stamp vs. Flores on Prime Video airs live from Bangkok’s legendary Lumpinee Stadium this Friday, September 4.
Nine action-packed matchups across Muay Thai, MMA, and submission grappling wrap up the world’s largest martial arts organization’s triple-header weekend, which opens with The Inner Circle 29 and ONE Friday Fights 169.
From a former multi-sport ONE World Champion looking to make a statement to a pair of hungry newcomers making their promotional debuts, here are five reasons fans should circle this stacked card.
#1 The Return Of Stamp Fairtex
The only three-sport ONE World Champion returns to action in the main event of ONE Fight Night 47, chasing a second straight win after recovering from an injury sustained months after she made history by capturing atomweight MMA gold.
In her last outing at The Inner Circle 20, Stamp Fairtex edged Cynthia Flores via split decision for a 15th win under the ONE spotlight. It was far from her usual dominant self after a tough opening round, but the Thai megastar, who also held the ONE Muay Thai and Kickboxing World Titles at atomweight, tapped into her world-class striking pedigree to turn the tide and get her hand raised.
Another victory would push her closer to reclaiming the throne she once ruled. That said, two-time WBC Muay Thai World Champion Selina “Teep Queen” Flores will certainly make life difficult for the Fairtex Training Center representative in this atomweight Muay Thai battle.
That matchup aside, fans can expect the Stamp Dance to make an appearance. It has, after all, become as synonymous with the Thai as the gold she has collected across three disciplines in ONE.
#2 A BJJ Icon Is Out To Prove Age Is Just A Number
Few storylines in grappling carry the same intrigue as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu royalty testing himself against a hungry new generational threat, and that is exactly what unfolds when Rafael Lovato Jr. squares off with Polish youngster Pawel Jaworski in a middleweight submission grappling showcase.
The 43-year-old is a multi-time BJJ World Champion and remains the only athlete to complete the IBJJF Grand Slam in both gi and no-gi competition. He announced himself to the global fan base with a commanding triumph over two-time ADCC World Champion Giancarlo Bodoni at ONE 173 in Tokyo, Japan, reaffirming why he remains one of the sport’s most respected black belts deep into his career.
Jaworski, 22, brings a different kind of danger. The IBJJF No-Gi World Champion owns a 43-8 record and made his own promotional statement earlier this year, pushing defending king Tye Ruotolo for a full 10 minutes before falling short via unanimous decision in their ONE Welterweight Submission Grappling World Title clash at ONE Fight Night 41.
Another massive win here and Lovato Jr. sends a clear message that his game transcends generations.
#3 Muay Thai Stars Loaded With Firepower
ONE Fight Night 47 is stacked with talent, including a pair of Muay Thai sluggers who have made a habit of putting opponents to sleep. First up, Thai knockout merchant Jaosuayai Mor Krungthepthonburi takes on Jordan “Panda Kick” Estupinan in a flyweight tiff.
The 24-year-old is chasing the 61st victory of an extensive career built on relentless volume, though he returns to the ring in search of a much-needed result after a run of tough outings. His most recent triumph came via a 52-second head-kick finish of Nakrob Fairtex, which earned him a US$50,000 performance bonus from ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong.
Apart from his stunning finish of Nakrob, the Sor Dechapan warrior has secured five additional highlight-reel wins.
Elsewhere, Ricardo Bravo brings equally lethal finishing power into his featherweight clash with “The Eagle” Mohamed Younes Rabah.
The Argentine owns a perfect finish rate through all his victories in ONE, and he’ll be out to find a route to the Algerian’s chin early as he aims to put his three-fight skid to bed.
#4 Strawweight MMA Battles With Plenty On The Line
The strawweight MMA division serves up two matchups this week, each carrying its own stakes, starting with Gilbert Nakatani and Nazareth “The Northstar” Lalthazuala’s guaranteed barnburner.
The 32-year-old Nakatani has spent his promotional tenure testing himself against tough competition, and he enters this bout determined to prove he still belongs among the division’s elite. Lalthazuala, meanwhile, seeks to extend his unblemished record to 8-0 just two months after he earned the life-changing US$100,000 main roster contract.

Vietnam’s Ngoc Phu Nguyen steps in as a late replacement for the injured Ellis “El Jefe” Badr Barboza to face Elmehdi “The Sniper” El Jamari in a strawweight Muay Thai clash. The unbeaten 22-year-old brings a perfect 12-0 record to Lumpinee Stadium, while his dance partner has sights set on a second victory in the organization.
In addition, Argentina’s Hector “La Arana” Almonacid opens his ONE account against Brazil’s Pedro “Guerreiro” Dantas in a featherweight MMA tie. Almonacid owns an 11-1 record and seven submission victories, bringing a well-rounded game built for the brightest lights.
Dantas, a second-generation fighter following the path of his father, carries a 6-1 mark into this tilt and will be eager to secure his first promotional win after a difficult start to life on the grandest stage of combat sports.
