The Inner Circle 27 touches down inside Bangkok’s legendary Lumpinee Stadium on Friday, August 21, streaming live in Asia primetime exclusively for subscribers at live.onefc.com.
A card loaded with World Title implications, veteran firepower, and hungry newcomers awaits the global fan base this week. In total, four Muay Thai bouts and one kickboxing clash make up a lineup built to deliver drama from top to bottom.
Here are three explosive reasons to tune in to The Inner Circle 27 this week.
In the headline attraction, former ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Title challenger Songchainoi “Mini-Hulk” Kiatsongrit faces fellow Thai standout Banluelok Sitwatcharachai in a high-stakes clash that has barnburner written all over it.
Songchainoi has been every bit as good as advertised since arriving on the global stage, carrying a 10-3 promotional record built on explosive combinations, sharp technical striking, and the kind of well-rounded arsenal that earned him a crack at the divisional strap.
A victory here would put the 25-year-old firmly back in the conversation for another shot at reigning ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Nadaka, who defends his crown against Rifdean Masdor at ONE SAMURAI 4.
Standing in his way is Banluelok, a warrior with just as much at stake in this atomweight Muay Thai gem.
The 29-year-old has rattled off back-to-back triumphs since his three-fight streak was snapped by Nadaka in June of last year, most recently scoring a third-round knockout of Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion Rak Erawan at The Inner Circle 17.
A win over someone of Songchainoi’s caliber would be the signature victory of his career, one that could finally earn him a life-changing US$100,000 main roster contract and, potentially, a rematch of his own against the Japanese megastar.
Two proven finishers, one shot at the bigger picture. Neither man is walking away from this one without giving it everything, setting the stage for a fight fans will not want to miss.

After Suriyanlek Por Yenying was injured while on a morning run during training, Yodphupa Petkiatpet instantly stepped in to face Myanmar dynamo Saw Min Min in a bantamweight Muay Thai firefight.
The tough-as-nails Yodphupa won the Road to ONE: Thailand tournament and racked off four immediate wins, defeating the likes of Ilyas Musaev and Antar Kacem.
Although he has been hot and cold since, he’s never in a dull fight and brings the kind of energy to Lumpinee that defines what the weekly series is all about.
Saw Min Min’s lethwei background punishes anyone who leaves the slightest of openings. The 28-year-old’s ultra-aggressive style has been on full display through three appearances on the ONE Friday Fights circuit.
His unorthodox output and heavy hands have made him a threat capable of ending matches in an instant, regardless of how the action is unfolding. He, however, arrives at this clash with extra motivation after going down in his two previous outings.
Throw a fighter with nothing to lose against a veteran who rarely shies away from chaos, and the mecca of Muay Thai may be in for one of the wildest finishes of the entire card.
Two stars open their ONE Championship accounts at The Inner Circle 27, each looking to announce themselves in style against opponents who have no intention of playing spoiler quietly.
First up, Libyan standout Lamin “Desert Lion” Al Souayah steps in against Dalian “Deadly” Dawody in a lightweight Muay Thai clash. The 29-year-old brings a game built on explosive power and surprising speed for the weight class.
Making the leap to the weekly series is no small task, though, and Al Souayah will have to hit the ground running against an opponent already familiar with the bright lights.
Dawody made an immediate statement in his own promotional bow, scoring a knockout win over Dante Rodrigues that put the rest of the division on notice. The Swede now looks to build on that momentum.
Kicking off the subscriber-exclusive card, English standout Ben Longstaff gets his own crack at the global stage against Kazuteru Yamazaki in a flyweight kickboxing matchup that carries real stakes for both men.
The 28-year-old Brit arrives with a 19-2 record and a burning desire to make the most of an opportunity years in the making, fully aware that a statement performance here could open doors that took him a long time to knock on.
Yamazaki is not the kind of opponent built for an easy welcome, though. The Japanese slugger enters on a two-fight winning streak, and a motivated veteran looking to keep that momentum rolling makes for exactly the kind of tough introduction for a hungry newcomer.
